Senior Monét Panza, from Kearny’s School of Digital Media and Design, has prepared an exhibit about Kearny athletics that will be on display at the Serra Mesa library during April and May. Monét created the exhibit as her Senior Project. The exhibit includes informational displays, uniforms and Kearny memorabilia. Monét researched Kearny history, utilized memorabilia from the Kearny community, and accessed the Alumni Association’s growing collection of historical items to construct the displays. A public reception is planned for Wednesday, March 18th, from 6:00 – 7:30 in the library’s Community Room. The reception will be a time to meet Monét and it will provide an opportunity for the Kearny community to relive the Komet’s athletic history with friends and family.
