Komets and NFL’s “A Crucial Catch” Campaign raise Breast Cancer Awareness
Throughout October your Kearny Komets are looking to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and to also support the American Cancer Society in their partnership with the NFL’s “A Crucial Catch” campaign. This month our team will be wearing pink as well as our cheerleaders, students, and fans. Please attend our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game on 10/21 vs La Jolla 6:30pm at Komet Stadium. ****Wear your pink*** Last years highlight – http://www.kusi.com/story/30301105/bonnie-chapman-breast-cancer-survivor-at-kearny
We have set up three ways for you to give back this month with all funds going directly to the campaign.
1 – Penny Drive – Donate any change you have in our pink boxes located in every office on campus as well as the snack bar and ticket booths during games.
2 – Night Out With The Team – Attend dinner on 10/20 with our football team and cheerleaders at Chili’s in Clairemont. Flyers can be picked up on campus or downloaded here. For every dinner purchased with a flyer Chili’s will give back 15% of the bill.
3 – Donate online through “A Crucial Catch” campaign. http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/CommunityFundraisingPages/CVCCY16National?team_id=2094938&pg=team&fr_id=77596
